And the following instruments were introduced:<br>\u30fbnuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers (HA-110, A-60D, T-60)<br>\u30fbmass spectrometer (M-52)<br>\u30fbelemental analyzers (MT-2, MN2, MN2A)<br>\u30fbsingle crystal X-ray diffractometer (AFC-3)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1978.09<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Professor Hideki Sakurai was appointed as the director.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1979.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A 200 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer (XL-200) and a 90 MHz nuclear<br>magnetic resonance spectrometer (EM-390) were introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1979.12<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A CHN elemental analyzer (MT-3) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1985.07<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A new building was constructed.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1986.10<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A 400 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer (GX-400) and a single crystal X-ray<br>diffractometer (RASA-AFC5R) were introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1988.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A 600 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer (AM-600) and a double-focusing<br>mass spectrometer (HX-110) were introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1990.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">An automatic titrator (VIT-90) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1990.04<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Professor Yoshinori Yamamoto was appointed as the new director of the center, and the<br>center established steering and technical committees.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1990.09<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">An inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer (ICPS-1000\u2162) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1991.10<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A CHN elemental analyzer (MT-5) was introduced.<br>A double-focusing mass spectrometer (M-2500S) was added to the center&#8217;s equipment.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1994.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A 500 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer (\u03b1-500) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1996.04<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Professor Tsutomu Miyashi was appointed as the director.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1998.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A single crystal X-ray diffractometer (Mercury CCD) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1998.04<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">The center became part of the Graduate School of Science.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">1999.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Another CHN elemental analyzer (MT-6) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2000.05<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Professor Mitsuo Kira was appointed as the director.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2002.10<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A fourier-transform mass spectrometer (APEX\u2162) was introduced, along with a single crystal X-ray diffractometer (Saturn CCD). Two 600 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers<br>(ECA-600 and AVANCE-600) were introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2003.05<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">Professor Yoshinori Yamamoto was appointed as the director.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2004.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A halogen and sulfur analyzer(HNS-15\/HSU-20) was introduces.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2004.04<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">The center became one section of the Research and Analytical Center for Giant Molecules.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2005.08<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A CHN elemental analyzer (JM-10 \u2160) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td director.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2011.12<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A fourier-transform mass spectrometer (solariX 9.4T) was introduced.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2012.03<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\">A 700 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer (AVANCE\u2162 700), a single crystal X-ray diffractometer (VariMax with RAPID), a time-of-flight mass spectrometer (JMS-T100GCV), a CHN elemental analyzer (JM-11), and a halogen and
